Excellent! Questions are the answers in so many other areas too.
We recently had someone call and ask if we did outside detailing. The person answering the call said “no” and the conversation was over. I overheard the call and asked what it was about. I then called the customer back and asked for a few details of what he had in mind and before long we were awarded about $100k of work by just asking a few questions.
Another area where questions are very helpful is “finding things”. When you call and ask if they have some material or a gadget, etc. and they say no, the next question should be “What DO you have?” Often times you find that they had it but called it something else, or they had something close enough to make the project work.
